Ultra Bee Supermoto Wheels: A Buying Guide
A supermoto wheel kit is easier to choose when you separate three questions: does it fit your bike, which sizes are included, and what will you need beyond the wheels? This guide compares the published details of TXC's two Ultra Bee supermoto kits.
Start with Ultra Bee fitment
Choose a kit that explicitly lists the Surron Ultra Bee. A 17-inch diameter describes the rim size; it does not establish axle, hub, rotor or sprocket compatibility. A Light Bee wheel kit is not a substitute simply because it also uses 17-inch rims.
If your bike has aftermarket forks, brakes or other changes around the wheels, tell TXC what is installed before ordering. Include the bike model, year and photos of the relevant parts when asking about fitment.
Compare the listed rim and tire sizes
| Detail | Ultra Bee Supermoto Wheel Kit | Chrome Ultra Bee Supermoto Kit |
|---|---|---|
| Front rim | 17 × 2.50 inches | 17 × 2.50 inches |
| Rear rim | 17 × 3.50 inches | 17 × 3.50 inches |
| Tires | 100/80-17 front; 130/70-17 rear | CST tires included; sizes are not specified in the current listing |
| Rotors and sprocket | Explicitly excluded | Not specified in the current listing; confirm before ordering |
Read rim width and tire size separately. In a rim measurement such as 17 × 2.50, the numbers refer to diameter and width in inches. A tire marking such as 100/80-17 uses a different format. Match the complete specification rather than comparing only the last number.
Check what is actually in the box
The standard Ultra Bee Supermoto Wheel Kit explicitly excludes rotors and a sprocket. Plan those parts before purchase rather than assuming the product photo shows everything supplied.
The Chrome Ultra Bee Supermoto Kit lists chrome rims, hubs and nipples, along with CST tires. Its current description does not specify rotor or sprocket inclusion. Missing information is something to confirm, not evidence that a part is included.
Before you place your order
- Confirm the kit lists your exact bike and tell TXC about relevant modifications.
- Compare front and rear rim dimensions and the supplied tire specifications.
- Confirm which rotors, sprocket, spacers and mounting hardware are included, reusable or required separately.
- Review the selected product's current price, availability and shipping information.
Send your bike model, year, current wheel/brake setup and the kit you are considering through TXC customer support. This is a buying guide; follow the applicable manufacturer instructions for installation.
